don't know how to say it. i just barely passed the 2600 mile mark and the brakes have felt a LOT better during the last 100 miles. the sponginess has seemed to disappear because they bite sooner when you begin to pull the lever in. maybe i'm lucky, i don't know. wish i knew why they magically have started working like they should have in the first place. hopefully they continue to work as good as they do now.

Oddly enough, the performance of my brakes seem to be related to the ambient temperature. They're much better in the summer than the winter. Not sure what that means. Perhaps something to do with the expansion of the components or the fluid?
