Well fellas, I don't even know how to say this. CB has put his speedy up for sale. I can't even start to tell you how hard this is, but I just really need to sell her due to financial reasons. I've been trying to avoid it for the past month or so, but it looks like I'm really gonna have to sell her. I hope you guys won't mind me hang'n around until I get another one if I sell her. This will be the 1st time in 11 years(since I started riding) that I've been without a bike. And wouldn't you know it, it would have to be the one that I've loved the most that I have to get rid of! Worst case scenario, I should have another one within a year or so. So come on fellas, give the ol' CB some words of encouragement right now, 'cause I d*mn sure need it!

Got her listed in the classified section, if ya know anyone interested, have them take a gander at her.

CB's speedy

Look at it this way CB, by the time you are picking up your new one all of those little kinks that drive everyone nuts about them now will be getting worked out. And you'll get to start your warranty period over again. Don't go without a bike though - pick up a beater for pennies that runs and play around with it, clean it up...a year on four wheels is too long!

hey CB,

Very sorry to hear that. Real Bummer. I like Kdrivens suggestion though....that you buy a beater just to keep two wheels under you in the interim. Whatever you do, stay online with us......we appreciate your sense of humour and good spirit.

Cheers mate

PS.. bad timing too.... I have a feeling Monkeyhanger was about to cough up the Arts.

Oh man, I feel your pain. When I got divorced, I wound up with NOTHING except a bike, a dog, and a guitar. Literally. I lived off the kindness of friends for a while, had to get rid of the bike. When I could finally afford wheels, a car just made more sense, especially for things like getting to and from a J-O-B. I was off two wheels for years while I got back on my feet and got my finances in order and it truly sucked.

But in the end it all worked out good. There was a time where, if you'd told me I'd have two great bikes and money in the bank, I woulda said you were nuts. I was doin' good to buy groceries. But a little belt tightening now can lead to a lot of better things in the future.

Hang in there.

Man, I'm sorry to hear this cheap. Keep your spirits up, get an old beater. You'll get through this and have another S3 in no time. Please keep posting. I enjoy reading what you have to say.
