And I think I'm going into withdrawl. I've been stuck with the need for luggage capacity, and this past weekend brought back-to-back gigs wit the band, leavin' Sunday to do chores - a beautiful riding weekend wasted. Now it's Monday again and I'm back on the Beemerscooter.

But tomorrow I'm going to my first RAT meeting! This oughta be fun - bunch o' local RAT guys are getting together at a drive-in burger joint, along with one of the area's cage clubs. Apparently a lot of Bonnie owners, a Speedmaster or two, and the guy who does all the organizin' has a Tiger. I've got the only S3 in the area. The dealership is bringing a Scrambler for test rides, but I think it'd be kinda boring compared to what I've already got.

Some of the local BMW guys will probably crash the party too - good bunch of folks. I think I'll wear the BMW t-shirt my SO got me for christmas. It has the BMW logo with BIKES MADE WEIRD spelled out under it. Oughta look good on the Triumph.

RAT meeting with Bonnies , Speedmasters and Tigers? Prepare to ride slowly.

I went on a RAT ride like that last year and the pace was painful.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the pace. They have a breakfast ride every Sunday. Unfortunately, I'm usually out playin' with the band and don't get to bed until 4 a.m., and as much as I like to ride, I ain't makin' no 8:30 breakfast run. They talk about a "spirited pace," so I'm wonderin'. Some o' those old guys can scoot.

It's been 15 days since I hit the pavement and I'm definately going into withdrawal. It may just be the pain killers wearing off though! :jest:

You're from Tallahassee. You've undoubtedly met many of us Georgians and Alabamans, so I'm sure our speech patterns are just rubbing off onto you..

Down there, we're all into talkin' with drawl. :-D
