I am sure my tool kit is missing a tool…. Wondering that the official name is for the hook looking tool which is used to adjust the chain. It is used to turn the rear wheel. The tool looks like a hook /half moon with a notch on the end which grabs and turns the wheel…

Anyone have a spare one.. or know any place I can pick one up….

Thanks

don't know exactly where to get one Desmo. Check out ebay, I'm sure it would be cheaper than the dealer if you can find one!

I've seen C-spanner used in english to describe the tool you are looking for. I'd recommend getting one from the Triumph dealer as the ones hardware stores sell are way too thick to fit into the space where the adjuster teeth are located.

I thought I would save a few pennies and get a long handled one (as the Triumph two part design is a real pain) from the hardware store, but I had soon blown more than I thought I'd save on gas while I was driving around town hunting for the dam n thing.

There are a number of dealers selling 'C' spanners but they are all more expensive than the Triumph one, I have just bought one myself. Jack Lilleys have them and will post them wherever.
