What is everyone take on etiquette when you roll up next to another sports bike on the highway. Do you acknowledge them? Give them a hand signal? blow by cause your bike is faster? ride with them? etc.

EVeryone in NJ always gives a hand acknowledgement when passing in opposite directions which I assume is all over the US. But i am not sure when riding in the same direction.

A dude with a chick cam up next to and we rode for a few miles yesterday coming back from the shore, but I figure he had enough of me cause he took off.

some type of "hey, sup dude" is always cool. i mean doesnt it make you a little pissed if someone doesnt acknowledge ya...it only take a brief second to do something...like ya said most sportbikers do this for one another.....now if this was only the same for the "im to good for you" Hardley riders...

Unless my hand is workin' the clutch, I'll wave to anybody. Even if they're on a YELLOW bike.

I usually throw a hand up to anyone. Unless there on a black bike, then I throw up a front wheel with one of these... :moon:

i usually wave at all bikers, including the scooters and mopeds. whether they wave back or not, i usually don't notice as i am concentrating on what is in front of me.

I wave at anyone on a motorcycle (note: three-wheelers are not motorcycles, despite what their operators seem to want to think).

I usually wave to mopeds and scooters, mostly because i don't realize what they are until they pass (expect the obvious ones like a vespa), but I don't think i've EVER gotten anything back from them before. I did have a sheriff wave back once though, that was pretty cool.
