Guys,

Looking for aftermarket rear sprockets for my S3. I want to go up two but can't find a US dealer/distributor that has them. I know Renthan does one, but I can't find anyone that sells them. Are the 05-06 compatable with any other years?

Also, I've noticed on the Buells the rear "sprocket" is HUGE... Why is ther such a difference in gearing with a belt drive?

All recent single side swingarm sprockets are interchangeable. Not all of them have the decorative holes of the recent ones, though.

But I have not found anyone who makes 44s for the 955 either. Which is kind of a shame as the 44 is the natural choice when running the stock chain with a bit tighter gearing as the 44 fits in nicely.

So Renthal it is if you prefer the 44 like I do. A 45 might fit also on the stock chain, but have not tried this one so can't say for sure.

www.sprocketspecialists.com sent me one for my '05 speed triple.
they don't list it specifically for the '05 but it is a straight bolt on.
same part number as earlier models.

2695-44 cost $62.99

the 44 fit on with no problems with 7000k on the bike. could possibly have squeezed on the 45...

Geof3 i have done an extensive search for this very item and the best place i came up with is this place.

B & C Express

They have them in stock and ready to ship. The item numbers you want are.

43T 389-530-43HA
44T 389-530-44HA
45T 389-530-45HA

The Links above are for a 05/06 Sprint as they do not have the S3 listed but they are the same item.

The part number is the same as the B&C number...

389-530-44HA

I had to ring them in order to get it sent.. it appears they don't like to deal with specifics on their website.. excellent service mind..

renthal

Some food for thought before you choose what size sprocket to get. I personally have decided to go with the 46T rear. I went one down on the front and found that great but went back to standard as some have said that a smaller sprocket on the front can cause the chain to rub on the swing arm. Anyway hope this helps.
