Weird speedo display.

I am only asking this question because someone was talking about it on another forum. They were saying the speedo display on the new S3 was a little weird. The top speed is displayed in the same was as the time, eg a top speed of 147 kph would be displayed as 14.70, is this true and what was the thinking behind it ? Why did the Japanese manufacturer allow it to be displayed like that ?

No, it's not true. A top speed of 147kph would be displayed as ^147 under the "Max Speed" reading..
