Hi, new to the forum and wanted to ask for a little help.
I bought my 02 S3 about a month ago and am quickly setting her up the way I want thanks to a lot of reading on this forum (pazzo levers, anodized risers, seargent seat, adjure headlights, etc...). She came with a Scorpion slip-on that simply sounds amazing but isn't so pretty in the looks department. It's a low mount with an ugly cast black connector pipe. I would like to keep the muffler (South Bay Triumph said it's the best they've ever heard on a 955) but would like to adopt it to a high mount position with new connecting pipes and bracketry.
Does anybody have any ideas on how I might go about pulling this off?
Thanks

Go to a local custom exhaust man, he may be able to modify it for you.

Thanks, any idea at what I reasonable cost for something like that might be?
I'm still hoping that someone has a semi-custom approach, such as "company xxx pipes are same fit and diameter, so they can be used interchangeably". Or maybe a way to contact Scorpion direct? I'm only able to find their products through retail outlets.

Scorpion Website, 02-05 S3 page

This page on their website states that there is a high level mount option, and to "contact your dealer."

I can't imagine it would be more than $50 for the 2' length of pipe that would need to be custom bent at a muffler shop. You could always go to your local auto parts store and buy an assortment of bends and some short lengths of pipe and do a mock up to fit, then take that mock up to a muffler shop and have them duplicate it in stainless or aluminum.
