I use an HK lock. If you saw HK on the guy's helmet lock in bright red letters, would YOU screw with that bike?

it was an hjc. i paid about $150 for it back a couple years ago. it wasn't in the best of shape and i had a minor accident while wearing it. it is probably time for a new one anyway. i want the suomy van den goorbergh. if i get it, it will never leave my sight.

the sad part is, i usually carry my helmet everywhere i go. this one instance, i decided to leave it out on the bike because i did not want to take 2 helmets into the bar since my gf was with me. big mistake.

Catch the next Dallas gun show at market hall, they give away as many gun locks as you want, I have a few lying around.

And for helemts, I just ordered a N102 Nolan, very nice flip up with the extra sun screen that pops down like the German
modle but was only $204 in ebay, but available at BMW shops for $299.

Yep, a lot of my friends laugh when I carry my helmet with me when walking around somewhere mid-ride. They think I'm either trying to show off (yes, I ride a motorcycle) or I'm loopy...

Well, when you drop $500-$600 on your helmet, I think my behavior makes perfect sense!

Sorry for your loss, sadly it just proves you can't trust people.

On a related noted, my domestic situation has changed, so I find myself offering highly affectionate ladies rides on the bike. However I need to find a way to carry the spare helmet and jacket on my 06 triple, when such instances arrive. Any thoughts?
Uhmm, half helmet bungeed to the pillion--doesn't take up too much room nor does it look too funny.

When I first bought my bike I had my $$$ RX7 Doohan replica and a Shoei stolen off of my bike. I parked next to a police car and went inside of a bowling ally. Came out that both helmets were gone.

I later figured out that you can lock your helmet under the seat by threading the ring on the chin strap under the seat post and then locking the seat back down.
