The handling of my old T509 went from medicore with a 190 series Dunlop D208 to fantastic with a 180 series Metzeler Z6 - a sport touring tire, at that! It's much more nimble - it takes far less effort to flick into a turn, and almost seems more predictable while in a turn, too. I'm sticking with 180s from now on; I'll never go back to 190s. The only advantage of the 190 is the look - it did look neat to have that big, fat rear tire!
