Hello everyone..

I recently picked up a Speed Triple and just wanted to give a quick introduction. I have been looking around the forum and have found some very useful information. The search is difficult to use, guess it takes some getting use to.

I am by no means a novice… I have had mostly sport bike, with the exemption of a Monster. This season I wanted to try out a less aggressive in riding style but still having some balls to move when needed, so I chose the S3.

This is my first Triumph so I’m sure I will have lots of noobie questions.. hope you guys bare with me.

Thanks
below are pictures of my new toy...

ahhhh!!! What are you crazy??? Why did you wanna join this forum after lurking? Nothing but crazy people here! Well, come to think of it, you'll fit right in, you must be crazy, you bought black! Sorry Legman, I didn't mean to say that, it just came out! Welcome to the board dez, and hope you find some of these guys helpful. Some tend to say that I'm not very helpful, but I'll do what I can! Enjoy your speedy, they are wonderful machines, and yours looks like a beauty! :-D

Desmo,

Welcome aboard. Great group of folks on here and lots of great information. Enjoy your ride, she's a beauty!

BTW- I see some nice mods, what are the rearsets as well as the brake reservoir, sprocket cover, chainguard, signals, and lastly are those the stock handlebars???

Sorry for so many questions, just some mods I'll be doing soon...

-Russ :-D

Another Colorado guy - that's excellent - welcome from another newbie!

Along with the other questions above - what kind of can is that? I like the high-mount and the length is much shorter that the 2Bros everyone is talking about in the latest posting.

Nice looking bike.

Y'know, I am not real fond of the pre-'05 Triples in stock form, but that one you got pushes all the right buttons. Have fun around here and ignore the "color" commentary.
