I remembered a member who was making a chopper out of a speed triple engine that was a tribute to Michael Schumachers winning Ferrari Formula One car. He was having trouble getting the engine to fire since he didn't have the original computer to go with the engine. Now that I've sold the triple and slowed down a bit I was reading the latest American Iron Magazine. In an article about Daytona 06 Bike week there was a picture I believe to be the same bike. If it's in fact the bike I congratulate the owner since it's really clean and if no one knew better you'd never guess it was powered by a 3 cylinder water cooled engine.

What on earth is the connection between "Michael Schumachers winning Ferrari Formula One car" and a chopper with a 3 cylinder Brittish engine? I don't care what it looks like, some things are just wrong! :asb:

I'd actually like to see the pics too. I can appreciate someone else's hard work on two wheels, even if it's not my taste. :hammer:

Even if it all doesn't connect, it still looks awesome...

interesting idea... I wonder where one is supposed to put their feet, and how you shift, brake, etc...
I admire the effort.. to my taste though, much of the appeal of choppers has rested on the exposure of the engine.. this one kind of looks like a rolling set of nostrils.. nicely done though...

Uh... am I the only one who thinks it looks like a Big Wheel? Or maybe one o' them Playskool things for li'l kids to pedal around on? Maybe if ya took a playin' card an' ran it to the spokes with a clothespin, it would sound cool.

This thing is, like, the Anti-Naked Bike. Ick.

Might as well have an electric motor and batteries.

Yeah it looks like a big wheel. He needs to re-think that god-awful fairing and gas tank.
