it should come as a kit.....new seat, the rack and the hardware....the seat is molded to allow the frame to come out.

I can't believe triumph can sell the mini luggage rack / grab bar and new seat for $140 ? Not when they have $40 fuel filters and $129 tail lenses.

My only real complaint so far about my first triumph is the rediculous mark up and price fixing on parts. I mean every
dealer sells for MSRP, where's the competition ?

I don't think that it includes a new seat. Looks like the grab rail/luggage rack just squishes out from between the seat and the bodywork...no use of the cowl.

I remember reading in another thread that Triumph sells a special seat to use if you're going to use the luggage rack BUT you can modify the stock seat yourself to allow for the extra clearance needed from the luggage rack supports.

Does anyone here use the Triumph luggage rack? I'd love to get one for some long distance trips but I'm not crazy about the price.
