... it means EVERYONE makes mistakes sometimes.
Anyone have a guess as to what they were thinkin' when they mixed this batch o' paint? Anyone wanna FESS UP to actually ownin' one in this particular livery?
At least it wheelies almost as good as the yellow ones.
"Roulette Green" ain't much better. Shoulda called it "Ode to Linda Blair."
I'd like to see 'em do the S3 in a nice Porsche red with everything else black - including the pipes and the headlights. But then I'm an anarchosyndicalist at heart.

I saw a Roulette Green this past Sunday in Meadows of Dan. It's not nearly as bad as the picture.
Can't say that about the red though.

I have to agree Triumph has a tendency to come up with some bad taste colors and those two are on top of the tacky list.
I think they should follow the example of the Ducati, MV Agusta and the likes and go for the classy strong basic colors, instead of offering pastels suitable for decorating a little girl's room.
I hear the tacky green is making a comeback for 2007. Maybe they just had barrels of the stuff lying around, the choice just does not make any sense otherwise.
Or maybe the weird choices are the result of the basic shades identifying too strongly with other brands and Triumph desperately trying to avoid this? Green is Kawi, Blue is Yamaha, Red is Ducati, Silver is Honda, racing orange is Buell/HD etc.

That is a sweet pearl, there.
Oh man... if roulette green comes back, can we call it the Toxic Avenger?
Kawasaki's green is pretty fugly too. Triumph could do something with their darker Goodwood Green, some nice deep reds. I hate to say it, but even the "scorched yellow" (call me crazy - I call it gold) is preferable to that slime color. Some two-tones would be nice too - not that crazy zigzaggy ***** like on the Japanese bikes (that style was tired 15 years ago), but something simple and bold that takes advantage of the nice sculpting on the new Triumph sportbikes.
I tell ya, I've looked at the tank, fenders and side panel on my S3 and thought about two-toning it with red and maybe a gold pinstripe between. Nothing splashy, just strong.

I think the color really sold me on my S3, I really like a copper
color, like the 2003 SV1000 but this was close enough for me.

Yeah, then they could look just like everyone else :hammer:
I've seen roulette in person, and it looks good, though admittedly an acquired taste. I don't think the pink looks good, but you won't stumble upon a new market by following in the footsteps of others.

Personally I've never cared for the pink one, and if I had the misfortune of owning one it'd also be painted, like the pearl white one above. The green however is another story. I think that color looks great on the 2001 Moto Guzzi Sport with the red frame, as well as on the earlier V7 Sport from which it came. I've seen a number of the green S3's and like them. JMHO. Then again, I pretty much like any color on a motorcycle, as long as it's black.

I have to agree that the roulette green is pretty nice in person also. But I gots to admit that lucifer orange on rckrzy's triple is one bad mofo!!! That's why I got the gold(scorched yeller), it just adds that much of Triumph personality to an already rare bike. Besides, everyone buys BLACK! But I couldn't handle the pink either. Catamount's bike is a fine example of what all the pinks should turn into! :-D

I had the green S4 very similar in color nothing wrong with it! As for the pinkered, I suppose we need female S3 riders?
