After not riding for a month due to painting the body panels, I couldn't take it anymore and mounted the primered rear panels back on the bike to go for a quick ride.

I got everything put back on teh bike, got suited up and thought I'd warm her up while I put my helmet on and.... nothing.

Key turns, lights come on and speedo reads 888 like it alwayys does and she gave one sloppy, slow sounding turn and then clickclickclickclickclick and the speedo goes blank. ***?!?!?

I keep the battery on a minder/charger (it was unplugged for the last week, but usually always plugged in) so I don't *think* it the battery. I put a voltage meter to it and it read 10.8 and rising while plugged back into the charger.

I left it overnight a this morning I get the same old sad turn and clicketyclickety. I can't be anything really crazy - I haven't ridden it in a month and it just started a week ago.

Any thoughts? Help? I wanna go ride! :???:

If you're down to 10.8 volts, that battery is history. It'll never come back enough to be trustworthy, and may well not come back enough to crank, as you've shown. Good news is, it's a nice cheap fix...

Good riding!
