When do the specs for the 07 Speed Triple become available?

When do the 07's show up at the dealers?

Anybody know of ABS being offered as an option in 07?

Thanks.

My guess the specs will be identical to 2006 as Triumph does not have the funds to do revisions in the 2 year cycle as the japanese. Maybe new colors, but that will be it.

'06 showed up at the dealers over here in august. '07 might be the same. Or not.

99% sure no ABS. In my opinion ABS is a feature more directed on the granpa's touring sled market than the sportier rides.

I guess sometime in July. Don't expect big changes, and probably no changes at all except color. (Red anyone? Graphite?)

I strongly doubt it. Triumph has never offered ABS before, and if they did it would probably debut on something like the Sprint ST. The S3 just isn't the kind of bike that people would want ABS on!

ABS has been an option on the Sprint ST for over 2 years now (since the introduction of the 1050 model). SPRINT ST ABS.

The only naked with ABS (as far as I know) is the BMW K1200R. But I know a K1200R owner who has had the ABS removed. According to him ABS doesn't belong on a naked or a sportsbike.

As far as I've seen, the only change to the 07 Speed Triple is a catalyser in the exhaust to meet the upcoming emission regs.

? There has been a CAT in the pipe from 2005 onwards. Or is there going to be a bigger Ducati style colostomy bag for 2007?

You know, I forgot all about that. I guess I was better at predictions than I thought!

The Sprint ST is a touring bike and about 100lbs heavier (most of that is topheavy weight) so ABS makes sense. You'll never see ABS on a Speed Triple.

I only know of one change for 07. They're bringing back that lime green color.
