Hey Catamount...

This bike belongs to a guy who's bike I was thinking about looking at in Chicago. They give a couple of views of the TwoBros. I too am thinking about purchasing the same high mount oval. Hope these help you... they aren't enough to convince me to pull the trigger just yet!

Anyone else got some photos of different angles? Maybe a direct side photo?

Looked that way to me too. I wonder if he just failed to cut the pipe down enough? Is it suppose to be that way? Looks as though the pipe may not fit under the passenger peg otherwise(?).

I too have been pondering over the 2 bro's. I think I will pass on their HM it just doesn't "do it" for me visually, however if they made a undertail maybe. I have mine down to three

Triumph HM
Wolf HM
Blueflame HM

On a side note a friend of mine had a renegade on his tona with the left side exit......very sweet setup however from the looks of it they have went out of business.

Here is my bike with the high mount. I cut about 3.5" off of the front of the can.

You cut it off?! Off from the can?! How were you able to do that? Or did you cut off some of the pipe? Very interested in knowing as most of the high mount pipes seem to stick too far out the rear.

I drilled the rivets out on both sides of the can and took it apart. I made a jig to keep the outer can square as I ran it through the bandsaw with a metal cutting blade. I cut it at the inlet side so as not to mess up the position of the TBR logo. The inner core is stainless I believe and had to be cut with a chop saw with a metal cutting fiber disk. I had to drill new holes for the outer can so it could be re-riveted. The hardest part was finding stainless steel rivets. It's not noticably louder and doesn't seem to have affected power. I've never put it on the dyno but it still feels the same to me.

Wow, I'm glad I asked for photos before buying the TBR HM! I really think it looks pretty bad - the pipe is far too long (and I don't have the guts to take a hack saw to my pipe).

Guess I'll stick with my TBR standard mount...
