I recently bought my bike to the Dealer for th3 wonderful 1st service where they charged me $269.- for a oil change. They told me they were going over the bike from top to bottom! BULLSH!T...! They did nothing... Anyway The chain is sagging pretty bad. I looked in the manual and I couldn't figure how to adjust the chain on the single sided swingarm. Any help is appriciated. I'm mechanically inclined, but I do have a excuse it is dark out. PLEASE HELP....

Thanks,
Speeeeeed!`

measure it before you adjust it... it's supposed to sag quite a bit...

Sorry to hear about your dealer. My first service on my 2006 S3 cost me $194.84. It included the standard oil & filter change and everything else outlined in the owner's manual. In addition, I requested the mechanic adjust the chain for minimum sag, throttle lag to zero tolerance, and clutch release with minimum pull on the lever. I was told the minimum charge for service was $90.00 labor, $57.00 for the oil, $12.00 for the oil filter, and the rest was a fudge factor for the additional requested labor items, plus state sales tax. I thought my bill was high, but your bill sounds unreasonably high. Keep in mind that dealerships make their biggest profit through their service and parts departments. They wouldn't stay in business on bike sales alone. I paid $9,500.00 for my new 2006 S3, so I'm sure they are making up for the "deal" I negotiated in the front room by charging me more in the back room. You get what you pay for, and I think my S3 is worth it.

f1eric, just wondering if you could do me the favour of sending me that PDF as well. I have looked at the back wheel of that s3 for about a day and still haven't figured it out yet.

so it is  looked through the manual and must have overlooked it the first time. Was wondering what those funky metalic contraptions were that they gave me. Apparently they call them "tools"

Thanks Legman for pointing me back in the right direction.
