Just got my MRI results, it is only a "SLAP tear of the superior labrum" and not a torn rotator cuff. Also "joint effusion with synovitus, organized blood products or loose body in the subcoracoid recess of the joint capsule". Questionable possibility of a fracture through the scapula in addition to the fractured clavicle.
So what to do? Well, I rode 190 miles on Sunday without any real problems. The most painful thing is working with my hands in front of me, like making dinner. 10 minutes of that & I'm ready for a scotch on the rocks. The Ortho gave me a sheet of rehab excercises to do and he will re-evaluate if surgery is necessary in 4 weeks. Not much choice really cuz I'm going to
