Glad you are back on the road. White bike with new mirrors! Either of those will be most of the RATS jelous.

Yetserday I had an MRI (back injury). Interesting experience. It was not the open air one so I felt like a freakin worm in a hole. Make sure you put the earplugs in correctly else it gets a bit noisy.

Just get a few massages by Yvette and you'll feel fine.

Hey Doc, sorry to hear about your prang.

Glad to hear you are ok.

Loud pipes are my no1 safety feature, espescially in traffic.

Sorry to hear about the effect the accident had on your eyesight. I mean another white one!!

Sorry to hear about your ordeal, I know the area it happened... I use to live in Easley and went to the Brevard area regularly via the twisties on Ceasar's Head mountain.

Where in Florida ya goin? I live in St. Petersburg and have a friend who is a Shift kart racer and Orthopeadic surgeon, We get together and blast the bridges at a 120+ mph on our bikes, He rides a 929 and loves my S3.

He will give special attention to a fellow rider... He also just healed up from a high speed get-off on his kart.

BTW, I have heard a lot of people talk about making the mistake of getting back surgery. I don't know if it applies here but be careful. Back injuries take a while to heal but the body MAY do a better job than a surgeon.

Just got my MRI results, it is only a "SLAP tear of the superior labrum" and not a torn rotator cuff. Also "joint effusion with synovitus, organized blood products or loose body in the subcoracoid recess of the joint capsule". Questionable possibility of a fracture through the scapula in addition to the fractured clavicle.

So what to do? Well, I rode 190 miles on Sunday without any real problems. The most painful thing is working with my hands in front of me, like making dinner. 10 minutes of that & I'm ready for a scotch on the rocks. The Ortho gave me a sheet of rehab excercises to do and he will re-evaluate if surgery is necessary in 4 weeks. Not much choice really cuz I'm going to The North Channel of Lake Huron on Saturday for 3 weeks of vacation. No Speedy but plenty of boating, fishing, swimming, hot sun, cool water and cold beer.

Well, I'm out of here. I've got the Z loaded to the gills for a 1200 mile road trip. 3 weeks on an island with no electricity, phone or internet. We have propane for lights, cooking and refrigeration (yes, you can have a totally passive heat engine with a flame on one side and ice cubes on the other). When the boss asks how to get hold of me the answer is "You can't". Closest thing to paradise I know of.

Y'all behave now, especially CB! :-D

There's only three kinds of riders: Those that have crashed, those that will crash, and those that will crash again. I'm trying to remain part of the first category, but unfortunately I feel I'm probably part of the last. Sigh.

Sorry to hear about the incident, and glad to hear you're okay. That's the most important part. Bikes are just things, in a universe full of things. People are each unique.

Too bad you live so far away. I might be tempted to make an offer on your engine, as it seems to be the only thing left salvageable!
although it may be practical to say you will have an accident if you ride long enough, I keep telling myself I will not have one! ok so I live in a fantasy world! The only accident I have had is laying the bike over (twice) at a stop. Pant leg catching peg! stupid huh? or lucky! sean.....
