I'd like to have the the pipes ceramic coated matt black all the way to the cans. Anyone know where I could have this done in LA, or how much I should expect to pay? Thanks...

Lom - I'm goin' to do a black ceramic coating on mine as well. I actually couldn't wait and I painted mine with a high heat ceramic enamel. They looked perfect when I took them out of the oven but when heated they turn a bit grey. Still looks much better than factory finish.

After asking around the best place I've found is Andrew's Powder Coating, located in Chatsworth. I hear they do really nice job. They have a variety of high heat finishes at around $150-200. Click on the "JET HOT" link for high heat options. A pricing link is on the Jet Hot page as well.

Lom,

I'm getting mine done next week. I'm paying 200.00 for my 04 to be coated inside and out. here's the guy in Phoenix's price list. Just scroll down to the MC's.

I have an 04 SE and think the blacked out pipes would look great. I'm getting the can done also, kinda like the 95's

SIN138,

I did the same, looked great out of the oven but have since turned grayish. I might also look into ceramic coating...

Thanks a lot guys, I'll also post any quotes I get. SIN, perhaps Andrews would give us a discount for 2.

These pipes discolored really quick and really ugly...

xSpeed3x, please post pictures when you get your exhaust/cans back. I would really like to see how it turns out with the cans coated as well.

I'll deliver them on Friday and takes about a week but I'll be in NC for two weeks, so look for the pix in about 3 weeks.

Lom and Sin,
I'm in LA too. I'd be interested in a group discount for coating parts.
Cheers,
Zohar
