Looking very nice. What is the exact product used? Looks matte black on the first pic and silvery on the other.

I would be very interested to hear how the finish stands up to the normal use and roadcr ap. Does it turn duller or crack or keep it's shape well?

Edit. Jeez with the auto-censorship. Roadc rap. How very offending. Buuhuuu! Come on, we are all adults from free speech countries, why is the d amn cyber-nanny slapping my f ucking fingers for every mild god d amn expression!

PERKELE!

Whew, feel all better now.

It's a satin black in both...flash made it look lighter. It's a satin black finsh. I think a carbon can would look alot better.

The finish is a ceramic coating bith inside and out.

I know this topic has been dead for a while but I am going to bring some parts in this week to be powder coated: Radguards, heelguards, top tree, risers, side stand and calipers. And my new Zard is arriving in a few days and that baby is gonna be coated black before installation. I'm going to Andrew PC which is near Los Angeles. If any one is interested they said they would cut a deal as long as we were using the same finish>>Black and more Black 4 me. Thought I'd offer this up. Andrews is on high end price wise but do a beautiful job. Our S3's deserve only the best.

SIN138,

Let us all know how it worked out and any details about the materials they used. I'm in San Diego and looking for a local company that will do it in the fall - don't want to give up the rides when the weather is like this.
