Okay, I may be setting myself up for some abuse here (like maybe pictures of CB's sig coming my way) but I just bought a fly screen from a member, and I've been trying to figure out how to install it on my 1050, with no luck. So maybe I'm not the most adept person at things mechanical, but I didn't think I was this bad. Someone please help?

Hmm, from memory... you first gently pry off the back cover of the instrument cluster and it should be obvious from there on in.

I think there's a piece that bolts on the back of the cluster and then the screen bolts onto that from the front...3 allen head bolts.

Might have the instructions lying around somewhere, will look tonight...

hey stmike, I still have my instructions at the house. It is fairly easy though, as elpirt said, just pull off the back of the instrument panel, unplug guages, attatch the mounting plate, plug guages back up, and attatch flyscreen to mtg plate. If you need to see the instructions, let me know. I'll see if I can take a pic and email them to ya or something.

Thanks guys. The member who sold it to me (Sevrin) emailed me last night and said the same things. I didn't realize the back of the cluster had to be removed and replaced. He also forgot to send the three bolts, so I thought....well, never mind. I was just confused. :???:
