Anybody have some more information on the subject?

I found information on the LSL with 1" rise working with quite a few modifications to the lights and gauges.

The Woodcraft clipons are too low. They look like they are just shy of being functional that low. The 1"-2" risers I've seen look perfect, but has anybody found a kit or way of mounting them easily yet?

Hi
I have clip-ons with 60mm rise from them:

and am very happy with them.At first their system looks weird(adaptor sleeve) but it works for almost a year without problem.I had to play with them so it didn't touch the speedo but by 1mm it is ok.
Cheers

I had the Woodcrafts but I'm now using Tommaselli adjustable clip-ons that have a bit of rise and are adjustable in every direction.

There are pix in my album.

I had a set of "Variobars" from Gilles Tooling on my Aprilia. Fully adjustable and you can get risers up to 100 mm, I believe. Excellent quality, but pricey.

On the cheap side of things, how 'bout a clubman style bar. That'll give you the look and be about the height you're looking for all for as little as $75.

zmann, can you use all the standard cables? Did the CRG mirrors bolt right on? Are you having or have you had any clearance issues?

The clubman bars would work, but has anybody gotten clubman bars to work on their s3? I am actually very interested in this option. They would look pretty decent in black.

Yep standard cables and no clearance issues once adjusted properly but these do take a little more than the usual clip-on finessing b/c they have more joints. Just check at steering lock in both directions before final torque (and watch out of the instrument cluster clearance and throttle cable tension).
Cheers,
Zohar

What front blinkers are those, and what others would work similarly?

Mine? I just grabbed some sticky-backed LP blinkers, spliced the wires, and stuck them on. Not sure which others work.
