Okay, i have had a new chain and sprockets installed this year. About 12k ago. I tried to adjust the chain today and i could not budge the chain. Before all the adjustments were simple and didnt require alot of pulling to tighten the chain. But now i cant get any further.

I am wondering if there is a limit on how much you can tighten the chain on the speed triple?

Anyone get to a point in which you could no longer adjust it?

I have had dealers before when i brought my bike in to get new chain and sprockets install the chain too long, and the adjusters were not reset, so basically i only had a bit of tightening space. I wonder if the same could be done with the triumph.

Thanks

Assuming (making an ass out of you and me) you loosened adjustment bolt enough, if spanner doesn't turn concentric - try a flat driver/ light tap with hammer on adjustment notch(seriously). Counter-clockwise's tight, about two inches slack...

If turning concentric doesn't tighten chain much, it may be at limit. Take it back to whoever did work and tell them to redo it properly (ensure new link used on chain).

Hope this helps!
