Ok, I've had my 03 (mostly bone stock) for awhile now and finally I'm ready to start doing more mods to it. There are 3 different catagory's that I would like your input, money no object. As always your input and opinions are greatly appreciated. By the way the pathetic list below is all I've done......

Bar Ends
Frame Sliders
Tank Pad

My only input on this:

Styling: It's your bike and it shouldn't please anybody but yourself. Do what YOU think looks good.

Decide on an accent color to flow through the bike, I chose gold trim for my black S3, ( forks were gold, So I ran with it, Bars, gold casing bolts, black Pezzo short levers W/ gold selector, gold wheel stripe.

Try not to run with the pack too much on styling, If it looks like the rest of the bikes,
No one will notice... just like going to a Harley meet... they all begin to look the same...

You can change the performance, unless you are an aggressive rider, it doesn't show.
A bucket load of unusable Horse Power is expensive a waste of $$$ and generally makes the bike less dependable...

You need a good exhaust!
The current trend for exhaust is the low GP style like the ZARD, it will kick up a little HP,
and def improve the sound, I would go for a full system ( if money is no object )

The stock dual on the 05+ models looks great so I got the TOR's and love the sound.

I currently own 5 sets of turn signals, turned out my favorites are a $15. set,
and I scrapped the $89. set

Sometimes the changes never end...... have fun and just go for what you like.

Performance;

-Supercharger/Turbo (not necessary, but you can go taller on your gearing and I've heard of turbo bikes running for over 50,000km+ without trouble.

-Tires Tires Tires (can't drag a knee or pull nice wheelie/stoppie combos if your tires are sheeite)

-Levers (Improved feel with the Pazzos and a lot more adjustability, they give a better fit too, no more sloppy levers that wiggle around in their pivots)

-HH sintered brake pads (Holy hairy stoppie, Batman!)

-Custom seat (how are you going to go the distance if you're bleeding out your arse?!? Save yourself the hemmoroids and take care of your bum!)

(I feel the exhaust on this bike isn't worth the money compared to going the turbo or supercharger route. You could pay $1200+ for a full system or most custom/undertail pipes, or you could shell out $4800 for a supercharger that'll give you 10x+ the power increase to both HP and Tq... seems a no brainer to me if you've got the money)

Styling? Just do whatever you think looks great and makes you grin. Even if its a floral paint job with a fur seat. I honestly don't care what you ride, as long as you ride it like you love it.
