Sintered pads , yes or no for 97 S3 ?

Ok I have been looking up new pads for my 97 S3 and read
that sintered pads should ONLY be used on bikes that
came from the factory with hardened SS rotors.

I have NO clue as to what mine are. I also do not do track days or push my S3 very hard.........atleast not yet.

And I'd prefer to wear my pads out not the $$$$ rotors.

Going from EBC back to stock Triumph pads on next change, better performance from my experience.

Or Try EBC Organic (not HH, which EBC specs to chew rotor quicker)... used forever without prob.

anybody else get a weird "whirring" sound from their EBC HH pads? wondering if its just me...
