Now I have to figure out if my Compaq PC has a Serial port
that is of the correct type.
Not too sure about this but I think I would definately prefer a USB over a serial cable, and the new Tuneboy for the Keihin comes with a USB cable.

Besides If the bike got killed better do it with a USB killer rather than a serial killer......

Avi8or, I suggest that we combine the Head Up Display
with the TuneBoy so you can modify your maps by just
thinking about it while you are riding

I have been considering doing this and dropping a tooth on the front sprocket of my Sprint 1050 as well.

Wayne has just sent me a power curve which shows both torque and power gains across the rev range, coupled with a 10,000rpm rev limit.

It can also be used to correct the speedo inacurracy you get by changing the front sprocket.

All looks very promising! Who is going to be first?

TripleTrouble, that is what i am worried about. Not getting
stuff to work. I don't think that I will blowup the bike
by advancing the timing to 45 BTDC by mistake. Let us
know how it goes. The Wayne guy seems to do good by
customers over on 959NET.

Tracker,

No worries, I read the directions and messed with the 'wait time' or what ever it was and it is good. I sent in my ECU info and received my password in a few hours.

I will prolly play with it this weekend and keep you all updated.

Chris

We're all waiting with bated breath!
BTW did you get a serial or a USB cable with the program?
