hey that sort of rhymes. Yeah so I won the "best triple" class, of course there was only another bike to compete with, but hey, who cares right? The daytona 675 had a 107.9 (or 109.7) and I had a 116.8 to the wheel. Unfortunately I guess RevLMTRh8tR's 1050 didn't get to run because I assume they ran out of time.

If any of you missed out on it, go next year, it was AWESOME. Free food, No Limits was there with an awesome stunt show all day long, and the best part was when the cop finally dropped his bike on the "Beat the cop" course. That was so funny.

Here's a vid of my bike's dyno run:

Those B****** stopped dynoing bikes before I got to do mine!!!!!!!!! I waited in the sun all day and got screwed!!! Sorry to say this, granitsky, but had I gotten to go, you wouldn't have won that plaque! Just kidding, but seriously, congrats. Hope to see you again, maybe at Pacific Raceway sometime. Then we can see who is the better rider.

Glad you had a good time. I didn't make it over there. I did get to enjoy my first real ride on the Triple instead. Made it around Hood Canal and some twisties around Kitsap.

How many bikes do you think they tested there?

You got to do the Hood Canal Loop, huh, Silverdawg? Thats a fun ride. I live in Bremerton now and know quite a few nice roads to ride on this side of the water. You should PM me sometime for a ride.
As to how many bikes, I couldn't tell ya. I showed up almost 2 hours into the dynoing due to a work conflict and a ***** ferry ride, but I'm sure it was well over 100.

Yeah there were a ton of bikes there, some race bikes, a few harleys, but most of them were cbr1000's and 10r's and the like. Someone brought a little 50cc mini dirtbike and another guy had a turbo busa that kept having huge problems when they revved it up. Pretty fun. Too bad there weren't more triumphs, I had a few guys tell me afterward that they had a triumph but didn't bring it.

Yeah- I'm starting to learn the roads around here. Just moved to Port Orchard in October. Grew up in Sno-Valley. Good roads here too. My riding bible is Destination Highways. Covered most of them in Western WA.
Getting together for a ride would be great. Gotta baby due in two weeks, so I see my riding time cut down to a minimum, but hopefully by the end of summer I can get some good rides in again.
As for the dyno runs, it's good to hear they were able to go through that many. I thought it would take more time to get through them.

I'm in Seattle and I am looking for some good after work rides. I've found a few out near Duvall, but that is it so far.

I didn't know Lynnwood cyclebarn was having a dyno day, otherwise I would have come with my '06!

I have been having a blast with the triumph rat members. You guys should join up (it's free) and ride with us. Contact Dave Preston at fanatic@cyclebarn.com to get hooked up. There should be a ride almost every 2 weeks.
