I have a 2002 Trip and I have been having issues with a sticky throttle. It feels like the throttle butterfly is sticking. It only happens when you open the throttle from the closed position. It makes riding in traffic smoothly difficult. I have 9K miles on the bike now. I only use 93 octane fuel normally from a Mobil or Exxon stations.
Has anyone had this problem?
I have the Triumph High can and whatever tune the dealership used when they installed it.

Well I went to Great Bay Motorcycles when the Techs from Georgia were up in NH setting up the Rocket III's for Laconia Bike Week. Just by looking at my vin one of the Tech's had the shop order up 2 new throttle cables. I guess there was a problem with a some cables from the factory. Sure enough new cables on and its a new bike. It is even smother now at 10K then it was when I drove it off the showroom floor.
Also I rode the Rocket III up at Laconia and it is unbelievable to say the least.
