Many of you that have been lucky enough to own a S3 or Daytona for quite some time may already know how to do this, but I crossed paths with a Daytona owner recently who showed me his quick release for the rider seat. I'm not sure if this applies to the newer ('02 and up) seat. It cost under $3.00 to do this. All you need is two 6 mm X 1 threaded bolts, two corresponding nuts (no...not the family jewel kind), and two pins. You'll need to cut the heads off the bolts and drill a hole in the bolts big enough for the pins to go through. These photos should speak clearly on what to do.

Under seat 4

The guy I got the idea from had also attached a wire to each pin and and eye loop to the other end, placed under the nut so they pins wouldn't get lost when removing the seat.
