Does anyone recommend Luggage for a o6 speed triple. I'm looking for a rear bag and possibly a tank bag. I feel the tank bag might make the ride uncomfortable? In the past I have used a backpack which I either wore or strapped down to the bike. Please let me know...

Thanks,
Speeed!!

I bought a famsa tank bag and rear bag. i really like them. They are easy to get on and off the bike. The quality seems to be above average. The only place to order them in the states is http://www.bikerworldusa.com/. The tank bag is actually 2 bags, one larger and one smaller. You can attach both to the bike or one or the other. You can search the board for info on the tail bag. A few people have them. If you want I'll take some pics tonight and post.

I have the Famsa ART.710 tail bag from bikerworldusa.com. It is very well made. A base attaches securely to the seat and you simply clip and zip the bag to the seat. Easy to remove and take with you. Carries a fair amount and coupled with the tankbag ART.246(soon to be ordered for myself) that SlackCat mentioned you will have a great amount of space. Good luck and report what you get and how it works for you.

I use an RKA tank bag all the time (dressy loafers packed for work) and add a tail bag for weekend trips on my '02. Nice looking and well made gear. Tank bag does not get in the way.

I use an Elite Seat Sak from Luggage Locker on my VFR and my Speed Four. I love the bag. Especially how the bag is attached to the bike.

Downside is that each bag is specific to each bike so not sure what the Speed Triple's capacity would be.

One more vote for the FAMSA tailbag. It is just the right size for the 1050 S3 and the quickzip attachment to the base works well on stops. None of the usual fumbling around with straps & bungees.

And for the tankbag I have the Bagster cover+bag(s) combo, which I can also very much recommend. Easy to refuel with the bag, very secure, 10+ bags available for the same cover, quick to take bag off or put back on, cover protects tank paint etc.

There was pics on this site somewhere at least of the FAMSA as I originally got the idea from here last summer.

After purchasing the tail bag, I was sold on Famsa quality and this article/review sold me on the tank bag.

Nice bonus is that it can also be worn as a backpack...
