Which exhaust systems do it, and which don't? Are the flames from being out of tune with the exhaust?

I am looking for a tuned, high performance exhaust system that emits flames, of course... :-D

I am also looking for a rear axle nut that is spiked. I've seen pictures of one on a European Speed Triple full of bags, ready for a trip.

You probably want the Zard exhaust, and I don't know where to get the spikes, but the guy you're looking for is Monkeyhanger! :-D While you're at it, tell him CB wants his exhaust!!! :-D Sorry, I couldn't help more, and welcome to the board!

Fast reply!

I am also looking for bar-end mirrors I can use while lanesplitting, but the CRG mirrors are a lot of $$$ and not fully powdercoated black. Any suggestions for a folding bar-end mirror that is actually all black?

Where can I find a few different exhausts and accys for sale? I got this bike and was surprised to see little to no aftermarket support for it yet... The zard is alright, but I should have been more specific and said I'm looking for a system that is dual carbon.

I've only found:

odium,

you can get the rear wheel spikes from ebay.de. Search a while for "speed triple". I just saw them offered there a few days back while surfing the german parts offerings.

Odium, there is no way to pick an exhaust that will flame or wont flame - it's about unburned fuel in the mix igniting in the heat of an exhaust pipe and will happen with any straight through system from time to time if you mixture is rich (that's why it normally happens on roll off )

Trust me, anyone who tells you this or that exhaust will flame is full of it - it may or may not on your bike with your ECU settings etc - pick one that gives power and looks good (like the Trident) and then if you really want flames buy a flamer kit - these if you haven't seen them run a mini spark plug in to the pipe and at the press of a button you can ignite your exhaust gas for nice big flames on demand

Napoleons fit that description and they sell for about $30/ea.
