In the hashed area on the dipstick :-D . That is where you should look, not the handbook. It is about 3L-3,2L.

Anyone know if the handbook for the previous model (2004 955i) triple is available 'on-line'?

Sure, Hotmailjerk - they've buried the capacity WAAAAY back on page 109 of the above manual. I think they just wanted to see if we'd read the whole thing... :razz:
