So I'm going to buy one or the other but can't make up my mind which one. What do you have & why? Please discuss!

I'm sure the pit stands are great - no question of ground clearance, no added weight on the bike, can be used on another bike if you change or add. The pit stand may save you a few bucks, if that's a factor.
It also takes up added room in the garage, isn't with you on the road, and may need adapters to fit whatever bike you want to use it with. There are a number of really nice pitstands to choose from, and there was a great post recently from someone who had built one in welding class - looked REALLY nice.
A good centerstand will not significantly change ground clearance, and, unless you are competing on a closed course, the 10 lbs or so added weight is probably not significant. The centerstand will ALWAYS be where you need it - right there, with the bike. Need to change a tire on the road, need to adjust or lube the chain, you know how to get the wheel in the air.
As for choices, there is quite a selection of pit stands to choose from, but only one centerstand that I know of. But you really only need one (of either).
There are plenty of posts and threads discussing people's favorites. Good news is, you can't go wrong either way, IMO. Good luck!

Vinny does have a point . You would have the stand with you if needed

I just installed a centerstand on my S3, so I've got a Pitbull for sale... 125.00 + shipping takes it if anyones interested.

I've got an Anderson rear stand. I like it because it has wheels on it with wheel brakes.

I can definately see the point of a centerstand, but I just couldn't do it. I went with pitbull, and I'm very happy. That price Lono has is a great deal if it's the reversible stand!
