I finally did it and installed some aftermarket mirrors. I chose the Rizoma Dynamic mirrors. They actually appear to be the same mirror as the Rizoma "Reverse" bar end, but I hate bar end mirrors. I feel like I'm riding a moose. Of course I felt like I was ridding a mouse with the factory mirrors. Mickey Mouse.

I think they look great, but I'm not happy. These things are even harder to see out of than the factory mirrors! I don't know what to do about it. I'm giving them a chance to see if I can live with it, particularly because I think they look much better than most any others I've considered.

If I decide I can't live with them soon I'll have them up for sale.

And another outstanding review of PJ's parts. Ordered thursday night late, shipped friday morning, received monday afternoon. Good experience all the way through.

I might be interested in those, Crash. Been considering getting Throttlemeister bar-ends, but can't do it with the reverse bar-end mirrors...

sweeet crash, they look awesome, but sucks they don't serve the purpose! That's why I haven't bought any yet. Can't find any that I really like that I think I could actually use! Oh well, I guess anything is better than what I've got. I took my stockers off, and I don't have jack %!$# on there now. But hey, I can see just as much as I could before, nada!

I'll let you know, kuhlka. Give me a couple of weeks to see. I'm also thinking about turning a couple of longer stalks on the lathe. It would also probably help if the mirrors were convex instead of flat. I don't think I can fix that!

It's just a good thing that I have very attractive elbows. :-D

Crash, great looking mirrors!

Cheapb, I've got a Skyking barend I just took off of my bike, you can have it if you want. It's better than having nothing and getting pulled by the boys in blue. Let me know and I'll drop the thing in the mail.

Btw, I put a set of CRG's on mine. I know they are expensive but they are the best mirrors I've ever had on a bike. High quality and they work.

Uh, both.

Actually, I boogered one up getting it off and the easiest fix was to polish it up on the lathe. Then I decided to keep it that way. The time I dropped it (in a wet parking lot) the bar ends didn't get a scratch!

Hey, I might take ya up on that, Golf! Shoot me a email and let me know if it would be alright if I swing by your work one day to get it. I wouldn't mind checking out your shop anyways!

Crash,
I hate to hear that you can't see well out of them.. have you adjusted them down to where the stalks are horizontal and they're out over your hands more? Most people who go to these like them.
