I'm hungry.
I'm not much for Cod. These are Halibut, but they do use a fine beer batter. The Chips are the size of my cell phone, cut about 4 per potato, and fried with the skins still on. The place even makes their own crisps in a kettle. Sorry, but no old newspapers. The Horsebrass serves everything up on plates, with malt vinegar, that brown English steak sauce, and ketchup (it is the US after all.)

Also, take your pick from bangers, saveloys, pot pies, beef and mushroom or steak and kidney pie. Saturday's special is always Bangers and Mash, or get a ploughman's lunch or Scotch egg with one of over 50 draught beers. 500 beers available in bottles at Belmont Station right next door.

Horsebrass Menu

Dang you Sparti! Now I'M hungry.

True, it does look awesome in black. Truth be known, I'll let ya in on a little secret. I was wanting black, but found a killer deal on a used scorched yellow, so I couldn't pass it up. Plus, I did fall in love with the scorched yellow once I seen it in person. But black does fit the bad boy S3 image!

Always liked reversible rear wheel on Vincent (small sprocket one side, large on other).

Coolest bike besides Vincent...

Britten

It's interesting that many of the "innovations" of the Britten 1000 can be seen on the Vincent a half a century earlier. Engine as stressed member? Yup. Rear suspension attached to engine case? Sure enough. Girder front suspension? There it is. Twin front brakes? One of many firsts.

The Brough Superior is a fine motorcycle. However, technologically it's a parts bin bike. Engines from JAP, gearboxes from Sturmey-Archer, breaks from Royal Enfield, and even front forks from Harley Davidson! It added up to a great bike, but the Vincent HRD is head and shoulders above it.

The Vincent was mould breaking in many ways, and fully lived up to it's title "Worlds Fastest Standard Motorcycle." It's simply a marvel from innovative engine to radical chassis.

Oh, and correction: That may indeed be the correct seat for that model and year. But the Napoleon bar end mirror has got to go.

Excellent point - says something for long gone (and new) designers that alot of current bikes possess repackaged designs from a very different distant past...

Of course real innovation is race bred (i.e. Vincent).
