Have you guys seen the photos of the new Roulette Green 06/07 S3s? There was a guy on T595.net who took a tour of the factory and they've got a pile of mean greenies building up to hit dealerships.
Do you have a link? I couldn't find the pictures. Thanks, in advance!

one of the changes is a big ugly cat bulge on exhaust as it has to meet new emissions.
triumph are trying to figure out how not to loss HP as the cat is bad for power

My 2 cents worth :

Triumph is taking the st/triple engine for the new 1050 daytona. From the Bike magzine commentry this issue is getting a large capacity 3 cyclinder to rev and so deliver higher top end that is needed for sports bikes.

If they deliver on a engine for the Daytona you would assume there would be some trickle down to the speed triples.

Would be interested in seeing the new colours they may introduce. Still coming to terms with the white one.

It will be very interesting to see how Triumh cope with the addition of a cat - the whole twin pipe system was a compromise from the start to reduce noise without hitting power too much and now they have to reduce emmissions too - all on a system that the engine was never built for..

I forsee a lot of people buying cat eliminator pipes (our biggest seller for the new ZX10 for example!!)

I love my S3 but Triumph wont enter that speed war if it knows whats good for them.

Here is Moley's album on t595. You might need a paid membership to view his albums but I wouldn't know as I see everyone's photos having paid mine.

He's got a photo of his green tribal, greenies being made, and a bid slip for the 250,000th Speed Triple.

I have the new updated uranium power injector (the black plastic tank under the injectors) that replaced the flux capacitor on the White ONLY Speed Triples. They are super quick and lots faster than the black bikes. My bike has officially been officially named "CASPER". Not friendly and not a ghost, although it goes so fast as to seem a spectre and just a blur in the vision of the black S-3 owners. This new version is the ultimate in S-3 trickness and power. They have quit making them because they were too fast. The blue ones are so ugly they will not even go fast enough to get a ticket.

Read the MCN link. Trying to figure how they get some guy riding to work to be testing on a new bike.

The spy shots tehy had in a local magzine had somthing that looked like a 675 / triple cross bred and they said that was going to be the new 1050 daytona test mule.

Instead it turned out to be the 675 speed triple.

Pervious 9551 daytona / triple ( 2000) models did differ on engine spec aswell as gearing. after 2002 I though they where the same engine to keep costs down.

>> However, the Blue ones come with an Oscillation Overthruster, which of course makes them much faster than the black ones.

> I heard that Triumph was having an issue with the Oscillation Overthruster. ... due to mushiness of the feel.

This is a misimpression about how the Oscillation Overthruster works. What the oscillation overthrust hyperdrive (OOH) technique does is allow the vehicle to be in multiple places at once! That's the secret of its speed compared to a single-position-in-time (SPIT) vehicle.

Unfortunately, only those of us who truly know where we are going in the first place can receive the full benefit of OOH. Being more than one place at once feels mushy to other people, because in the absence of a sense of direction, it's just a case of going nowhere, very very fast.
