So, tomorrow I'm participating in a Hog event with a guy from work... we're meeting up here in NJ and all riding to Ground Zero.

I'll be interested to see what the attitude is between Harley/Triumph cruiser/sport.

I'm sure the attitude is a little less harsh than it used to be- hopefully the day will be about the events of 9/11 and not who's riding what!

I ride with harleys all the time and have never had a problem with them. Most of them know what a triumph is. The biggest complaint that I have is that a lot of them call it a crotch rocket.
For some reason they seem to like the S3 better than the ducati I had.
I've ridden with the Patriot Guard and everyone is interested in what you ride but the mission is more important. Your ride will probably be a lot like that. The will probably be interested in int S3, especially when you tell them that it is a 3 banger.

A lot of Harley guys are OK but there are those who have an attitude that HDs are the only thing worth riding.

Regardless, don't be in a hurry. They tend to be a bit slow on anything but an absolutely strainght road.

Well, I didn't make it on the ride this weekend with the Hogs- but apparently they had more than 5,000 riders!

A fellow I work with (Harley guys) just mentioned the Patriot Guard to me this morning. What an excellent display of patriotism and respect! The two of us are thinking about "joining"

The Patriot Guard is an awsome group. I went on my first ride with them a few weeks ago to honor Staff Sgt. Ramseyer. If you are interested here's my journal entry about it. http://slack-cat.livejournal.com/1463.html
