New to the forum and hoping someone can help....

I just picked up my new 06 Triple and when I got it home I started reading the manual and when trying to take a look at setting the clock and trip meters and such everything seems to work wrong....

First, the scroll button does absolutley nothing, second, when I hold the scroll button and set button to set the clock the Speedo starts flashing 2.

Anybody else have these issues? I know it has to go back but I was wondering if someone might have found it's just a firmware upgrade or something....or how long it took their dealer to swap out the cluster....

Thanks in advance.

I just read through about 100 cluster display issues on some of the other threads...looks like Triumph needs to focus some efforts on these things!

Sounds like As far as I know, the only reason for the Speedo to flash "2" is when you have previously pressed all 3 buttons on the cluster for 4 seconds. At that time, the speedo will flash "1", "2" or "3" - you should be able to use scroll to cycle between them. I can't remember which is which, but these three settings are: kph + litres, mph + US Gallons, mph + Imperial Gallons.

Sounds like maybe one of your buttons is stuck or shorted. Time for a cluster swap for certain.

Good Luck!

1: kph/liters
2: mph/UK mpg
3: mph/US mpg

I had a similar issue where a button lost it's "click" had to get the whole cluster swapped out... my dealer were really good about it.. needless to say I was disappointed about the quality of the unit... Plus I am not constantly worried that the buttons are going to fail on me...
