Help, I need some new ridding pants for summer would appreciate your input. I currently have a pair of Marsee pants but they aren't that good for summer. I want something that I can wear over jeans. I am also considering the draggin jeans and or bohn under armor.

Thanks!

I'm hope to God thats just something for Mardi Gras...

I've got a pair of Hein Gericke cargo pants. Totally waterproof and comfortable. If you've got a gut like me they don't fit perfectly at the waist, but when I lose 30 lbs they'll be perfect.

Also have a pair of the Triumph 'New Sport' leather pants and they're great. Probably not something I'd wear in the dead of summer as they're all black and get a little sweaty in the sun, but for trackdays they do a full zip into my cafe racer jacket and come with knee sliders.

My wife and I have Hood Jeans. the fit and finish are better then Dragin Jeans and they offer both hip and knee armor. Lots of styles. We just bought the jeans. Sizing is right on for men and correct for women (They will have to buy a size larger then they usually buy).

We've had ours for 3 years and they still look good. I did have a couple quibbles but Hood has addressed them. Since the dollar is down they aren't cheap.

I bought some Draggin Cargo pants on Saturday and I'm so happy with them, I've been wearing them every day since. Trouble is now when they need washing, I'm back in my leathers until they dry.

I bought a pair of Triumph's Tornado Jeans. Cut out the liners for warm weather use here in SoCal. They're well made--also come w/knee pucks.

Oh, Icon Superduty pants are really nice. They have kevlar sewn in as a complete layer in critical areas and they ride on the hips fairly nicely. No problems with my fat gut on those.

I'm taking the Triumph pants to Deal's Gap next week to finally put some use to those knee pucks.

I wear Joe Rocket Stage 1 pants, they have knee, hip and tailbone padding. They feel pretty good and are a lot safer than jeans. I also have a set of the Joe Rocket Ballistic 5.0 pants for colder weather.
