engine oil is also tranny oil?

i am pretty sure this is correct...but please assure me.
coming from a harley, i always had to change both the engine AND the tranny/primary oil. on my s3, i only have to change the engine oil because it is shared with the tranny oil???

Tekmoe, yes you are correct. This is one of the reasons you shouldn't use slippery additives, because it's a wet clutch as well.
Best thing is to get yourself a workshop manual and read up on doing your own maintenance.
