I'll second that... Interesting job, I wonder how hard it would be to heat form a similar shape of Lexan???

That was actually my initial intention. For $15 you can buy a 12" x 18" chunk of plexiglass from Home Depot. I performed a "dry run" with a spare chunk of 1/16" plexiglass that I found laying around:
I placed it on a piece of wax paper on a cookie sheet in the oven at 250F for 5 minutes.
Took it out and layed the plexiglass, with wax paper still underneath, on the side of a 5gal. pail laying horizontally.
I then took another piece of wax paper and streched it overtop of the pliable plexiglass, forcing it to conform to the curve of the 5gal pail. I held it there for a couple of minutes waiting for the plexiglass to cool.
Voila, a nicely curved chunk of plexiglass. It was optically horrible though-- I suppose it could be etched or 'roughed up' with some sandpaper and sprayed...
Unfortunately the curve was too severe and I decided that I'd need something with a larger diameter--ie maybe a hot water tank. Whilst procrastinating on what to use as a mould I found the CF screen on ebay.
