Buzzing Noise

When i got on my triumph this afternoon that short little buzz that i usually hear after turning the key to 'on' and before i start the engine turned into a long droning noise that lasted about twice as long.
After I started the bike, the buzzing came back, and seem to be coming from somewhere between the FIs and the Battery.
I have not had the Wiring Harness recall done yet, but am ordering the parts now.
Anyone have any ideas in the meantime until I take it in for it's first service? i've only got 520miles right now, and plan to take it in around 600

When I bought my bike, the salesman told me that "buzz" was just the sound of the system priming the injectors... However, I have noticed that on cold mornings or if I haven't started the bike in a while, that 'buzz' becomes more of a hollow sounding whistle that lasts a little longer than the normal 'buzz'...

I don't think it's too big of a deal...

but i'm actually more worried now as the buzzing lasted my entire ride home tonight!!!
