Hi,

I drilled about 10 1/4 inch holes in the baffle that I can see with a flashlight from the end of the pipe. The sound is a lot louder and slightly deeper. Is there more to drill? I would like to get it to sound as deep as I can. Is there a way to make it deeper without just making it D&D exhaust loud?

There doesn't seem to be any performance change at all from my drilling. I have tuneboy so I'm not too scared to drill a bit.

Has anyone else done this successfully? I want to get a Trident exhaust but this seems to be a cheap solution to getting more volume/deepness. Of course if I could find a sound file of the trident/wolf exhaust I could compare it.

I could post a video of it if anyone is interested

I'm interested! You can PM it if you like, or just post the video here.

I've drilled two cans before, and they only got rattley as they got
louder. Next time, I'm going to cut at the weld, shorten, and reweld. I've shortened four aftermarket cans so far, and they all sound great. 'Course, it's very easy to shorten an aftermarket can. A factory can would need reweldng, but you might be able to do most of the prep work yourself. You can get a crashed but shortenable can for less than 50 bucks, usually.
