how to remove headers?

What has to come off the bike ('06) to get at the headers? I have another thread about installing a zard exhaust, but my question is really all about getting the headers off the bike with a minimum of work, so I thought I'd use a less specific title in order to get a few more eyeballs on my question.

As someone replied in your other post. You don't need to remove the oil cooler or radiator, just unbolt them and work in the space that gives you. Having a mid length socket will make the job a lot easier. A short socket won't get you far enough over the threaded studs to get on the nut.

From there, it's as easy as removing the 6 nuts (2 per cylinder) and loosening all fastener in the exhaust. The header is one piece and needs a little wiggling to get it clear of your bike.
