tried taking out the fuse-- the bike won;t start without the fuse!! must be wired through the ignition circuit, which is rediculous cause if you blow the light fuse, the bike will die
I wound up taking the friggin' headlight lenses out and unplugging the bulbs. In hindsight I should have put about 10 layers of tape over the lights, would have been lots less trouble. You'll also run into the same problem with the taillight. I'd try the tape solution first-as long as they can't see any light shining through they'll probably let through tech inspection. Have fun!!
I take out the fuse for the tail light and remove the headlamp globes. I remove the headlamps so the bulb filaments won't be damaged by excessive vibes (don't know if it helps though).
You guys don't have a plug for the tail light and connectors for the signals? I can just unplug mine with the black connector. Don't have to screw with tape or anything.
