Howz about a independent forum for the old style triples?
these 900cc / 750cc baby's are now quite removed from these fancy modern models with all their fancy electrics and electric starts etc... a hem.

Anyho, just a suggestion.

ps. i love my bike

Actually, there already is what you're looking for. It's called Vintage Sprint 900 Forum

Basically it's for all the early T300 bikes (except Thunderbird and the 1200 four cylinder bikes), including the Sprint, Trident, Trophy, Speed Triple, and Daytona. These all were mechanically almost identical, with differences being mostly in brakes, suspension, and plastic bits. If you've got questions about a 93 to 96 Speed Triple then that's the best place to ask.

Good people there, who will make you welcome.

Then maybe perhaps that we ask the powers that be to re-name that forum the 'T300' forum, indicating S3, Sprint , Daytona , T300 tiger etc.... as many I feel see it as a Vintage Sprint/Trident site and nothing else - ?????

I also feel lost in the "speed triple" forum because I don't have the dual headlights! :-D

The Vintage Sprint Forum is good and indeed relates to our T300 S3's however the quantity of T300 owners isn't up to par with the new S3's- leaving me to wander back and forth quite frequently!

We the owners of the earliest, the modern originals - perhaps aren't fully catered to here!

I think we're lost! SHAWN! The thing is that Vintage Sprint as a forum title isn't that inspiring, hence most answers are slow in coming - we'd perhaps find more interest in a T300 forum that was maybe year specific for the states that 95-96, yeah i know that the UK was earlier and there are Executives etc... but the bulk for many is 95 -96. What about it? Then I might even want to moderate it!

Nice to see an interest.. for a while there i thought i was the only (original) speed triple owner in the world! No one to answer my questions and no one to share my ideas with!

What do'ya say Mr Web Site owner??? Do we old Speed Triple lovers get our own Forum? Cause god knows there is no where else on the net that is catering souly for us! well. maybe if you visit my site theres a forum usable but hey, it would take years to build up a community like this!

www.triumph-bikes.com (if anyone whats to nose, feel free to leave your mark!)

i already asked this question last year. i think more T3 speed triple owners would visit the "vintage" site if it were called "t3". i find myself wanting to post the exact same thread in both forums. vintage forum is more helpful since the bikes were essentially the same.

sounds good to me! bring it on!

started poking around in the 900 sprint forum, but still feel it would be more 'welcoming' if we had a t3 forum name.

there seems to be a healthy back and forth of new and old in the daytona forum, but triple world is def leaning toward the new models. which is no bad thing, beautiful bikes.

but i cant afford one.

and i love my t3.
