hey, i'm looking at getting a 2006 S3. Just wondering if there are any changes from 2005?

Oil cooler is smaller, brake caliper bolts have been changed from polished steel allens to painted black ***** and the seat to tank interface has been supplied with 3 $0.05 pieces of sticker to protect the paint.

So in effect, no changes that would matter.

the dealer just called me back and said i can't get financing because i have no credit history.....although i have had 2 car loans, 2 credit cards and i own a house......hopefully it gets worked out because i'm dying to ride one of these

Thats strange. I'd run a credit check ASAP to make sure there aren't any bogus collections or the like on your report. There's an FTC website where you can request one for free.

Also, you might want to consider using a home equity loan. That way the interest is tax deductible. Anyway, I hope you get your Triple soon. It's a blast.

Edit: Oops, I just noticed you're from the Great White North. I guess the FTC site isn't going to help in your case. I don't know about Canadian law, but any time you're denied credit down here you're entitled to see the report that the creditor used if you request it in writing. Might be another way to go about it.

In Canada, neither mortgage nor home equity interest is tax deductible.

Move to USA. I hear they are loosing up their immigration rules. Then get a credit report.

And FYI, those $0.05 cent sticky's Martin mentioned, don't worry they fall off anyway. I must vent, that was a poor design and even worse fix..................sorry for the rant.......... :evil:
