I waiting for the clock to count down to 3 pm; then its off to meet the lads from the Durham RAT pack and off to the Ferry at Newcastle. Nurburgring by Friday afternoon.

I'm told S3's are no good for touring. Well I'm going to find out.

She's serviced washed and retyred (New Conti sport attack) It had to be German for the 'Ring. The silly grab rail keeps everything on the bike I hope and a secondhand Baglux off ebay and a British Army holdall finish the touring kit off.

Wish me luck

I believe you can tour on anything. The only thing I think I'd really do is a seat upgrade.

Looking good! That Baglux matches surprisingly well - good score.

Have a great adventure. I've been contemplating an extended trip and was wondering what my bike would look like covered in luggage. Now I know.

Enjoy your trip!

Have fun Monkey and good luck. I'm going on a trip this weekend and just loaded my S3 down with Famsa gear. The bagster looks good.

Good wind pro... Looks cool. I'm getting a seat bag soon. Not as big though... 1500cc. I'll post when it comes.

Drive safe and have lots of fun.

I'm thinking on going to the Ring in September.
This month I'll be trying my luck on the TT-circuit at Assen. Circuit driving training, learn to drive fast as safe as possible
