I will not say that this is the correct method or even a good
method, but it was what i did. I cannot figure out how to post
multipule pics in the same post so i will do them one at a time ( plus some one will say I get more frequent flier points
this way )

HANG THE BIKE ( I used a Buell stand )

Short shock? How does it differ from the standard shock? Does it lower the bike or something?

If I mess with the rear shock, I'm going to make sure to put a shock sock on it like I've seen on some of the T595 guy's bikes.

I started by using blocks under the wheel but changed to
a low jack. It made it easy to move the wheel to line up the
suspension links ( I didn't have anyone helping my with the project )

Kuhlka, the shock I ordered from David Quinn was 50 mm
shorter than stock.
The most difficult part was getting the old remote reservior
out. You have to unscrew the clamp from about two inches
below the back of the regulator. But I still could not get the
clamp out , so i cut it ( bulged out by the shock ) with a Dremel. Even after i got the clamp out I had to take out the side pastic box bolts to move it up for more room Still took my
ten minutes and lots of#$%^&.

Side stand and bolt I powder coated. The Hagon instructions suggest 40 Nm plus Loctite for the shock bolts.
However the Triumph shop manual shows 48 Nm for the top
and 100 Nm for the bottom. David Quinn Inc return my E-mail
VERY promptly stating that the instructions were a generic
suggestion and that i should follow the manual but use lotite.

I try not to reuse loock fasteners but no local sources
had 10M and 12M 1.25 thread nuts. the stockers still
had the tangs so I used them at factory torque specs
but did use Lotite blue and lithiium grease for friction
surfaces. The painted a red line on each nut to thread
to make it easy to check nut stability.

I forgot to say that i had to take the exhaust cans/midpipe off as I could not get the lower shock nut off with the
new Wolf pipe on ( i don't know if the same problem
would happen with the stock midpipe.
